Purton House Organic Farm - Organic Meat Boxes

Each month we can deliver a mouth watering selection of seasonal organic meat to your door!!!*

* If you live in our delivery area. Alternately you can pick up from the farm or one of our collection points.

The BEEF is from our closed Limousin suckler herd at Purton House.

It is sent to the nearest soil association approved abattoir and is cut and packed by a qualified butcher. Unlike supermarket meat our organic beef is prepared, packed as described and then delivered by us direct to you minimising food miles. No sending it to the opposite end of the country or central depots before it even reaches point of sale. Everything is vacuum packed which is great for storage and freshness. Our organic beef is truly local produce for local people, completely traceable and B.S.E. free. Animal welfare is a priority.

All our beef is hung for up to three weeks for melt in the mouth tenderness and fuller flavour.

CHOICE ONE ~ VALUE MONTHLY ORGANIC MEAT BOX

This works on the same principle as your vegetable box. Each month we will deliver a mouth watering selection of seasonal organic meat to your door for a set box price.

The aim of this type of value box is to make organic meat more affordable and accessible.

In order to do this we choose the selection of meat for your box ~ just like the vegetable boxes. You can stipulate dislikes ~ for example if you do not eat sausages or pork we can omit these items & increase others. You can ask for larger or smaller joints or no joints if you only use small cuts. If you have a large family we can arrange for larger than normal joints. The savings we pass on to you the customer come from the seasonal and flexible nature of the boxes exact contents. These monthly meat boxes for a set price are fantastic way to purchase Soil Association recognised organic meat at trade prices. As a small dedicated producer we are in the position to offer this monthly service in addition to our vegetable and egg deliveries.

Medium Box	This can be ordered as it comes or with a choice of having no joints, small joints, or large joints.	£55	Standard as above but with the addition of joints of approx. 1 kg. It may also include a whole chicken, pork & lamb joints.
Large Box	This can be ordered as it comes or with a choice of having no joints, small joints, or large joints.	£75	Standard comes as above but with larger joints of approx. 1.5 kg.

CHOICE TWO ~ BESPOKE MONTHLY ORGANIC MEAT BOX

Using this option allows you to choose the cuts of meat you would use in an average month. Tailor your organic meat box to suit you and your family`s needs. Once set up you can then sit back and enjoy having a monthly delivery of the cuts of your choice. The prices for the organic beef are from our own set price list & still offers fantastic value for money.

Local delivery via our van. Delivery charge 50p.

Local delivery orders ~ including our organic vegetables & eggs are delivered to your door by our own van for freshness & efficiency:
